Quick answers

Common questions.

Why does a test ask for permission?

DeviceScope Test requests access only when a test needs the related hardware or system service. You can deny the request or change access later in your device's privacy settings.

Are my test results uploaded?

Hardware readings and test results are processed and displayed on your device. We do not upload your camera preview, microphone input, location coordinates, or Bluetooth scan results to our servers.

Why is a feature unavailable on my device?

Some tests depend on specific hardware, operating-system APIs, or permissions. Availability can differ between macOS, iOS, Android, and individual device models.

How do I reset permission access on macOS?

Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, choose the relevant category, then review access for DeviceScope Test. Reopen the app after changing a permission.

Can I request a new test or feature?

Yes. Email us with the device, platform, and capability you would like us to support. Feature requests are reviewed alongside bug reports.

Your test data stays private.
